From the ADAA Chair ... Extreme Weather Conditions 2011
Many of our members in Qld, and some in NSW,
VIC, SA and
WA have been or will be affected by floods and extreme weather
conditions in 2011. On behalf of
all members, all of our best wishes and thoughts are with you, your family and
pets. Please keep yourself
safe - property can always be replaced, but lives can't.
The Agility community, especially our ADAA members, is a
strong and supportive one. Please know that there are many other members who are
willing and ready to step up and provide support, whether that's immediate or
longer term.
Many 'standard' support services are geared towards
people and cannot always assist those with animals. If you need assistance,
whether that's someone who can provide temporary assistance to accommodate you
and/or pets, transportation, clean up, or whatever feel free to put a notice on
ADAAchat,
hopefully there will be someone else in a position to provide that assistance as
you need it.
Thoughts are with you all.
