Entry Information


SPECIAL NOTE: Because this event is being conducted by ADAA as a WAC fundraising event, it is important that everyone participate in setting up and/or putting away the equipment and/or other event tasks. Non-competing volunteers who are able to assist with catering, scribing and scorekeeping are asked to contact Damian Noud on either (07) 5495 6700 or frisbee.dogs@optusnet.com.au.

PADS Training Ground, South Pine Sports Association Grounds, Intersection of South Pine Road and Eatons Crossing Road, Eatons Hill.
Date: Saturday 30th January 2010.
Vetting: Formal vetting will not be conducted; however the club reserves the right to vet any dog present on the grounds on the day.
Dog Measuring: 4.15 to 4.30 pm
Judging Commences: 5.00 pm.
Order of Judging: As per entry schedule/catalogue.
Entry Fee: $4.00 per dog, per Test / Event.
Closing Date: Friday 22nd January 2010 (please use one entry form per dog - photocopies may be used). 

Meals: TBA.

Penalty Late Entry Fee: Late Entries will be accepted after Friday 22nd January 2010 up to and including Friday 29th January 2010 (not later than 6.00 pm) at an increased entry fee of $6.00 per Test/Event. ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY OF COMPETITION.

Prizes
: This is a fundraiser competition for the Australian team to travel to the IFCS World Agility Championships and there will be no supplied prizes.

CONDITIONS
# Competition to be held under the Rules and Agility Regulations of the Agility Dog Association of Australia Ltd (judging/scoring details for Games will be announced by the judge prior to the Event).
# All dogs and handlers must be registered with ADAA. Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry and to substitute judges as required. Dogs under 18 months of age not eligible for entry.
# For the purpose of ascertaining the eligibility to enter the appropriate standard at an exhibition, all "Clear Round" certificates and "Qualifying" certificates up to and including three days before the date on which entries close shall count.
# Any dog who has had contact with an infectious disease (except kennel cough), is excluded from any ADAA sanctioned event for 18 days post contact. If a dog on club grounds is established as having an infectious disease (except kennel cough), then all dogs on the ground are excluded from ADAA events for 18 days.

Any dog who has a contagious disease, or any dog in the same household (and in some cases any dog who has been exposed to a contagious disease), is excluded from any ADAA sanctioned event as outlined in the Canine Contagious Disease Policy. # It is a condition of entry that handlers assist in course changes, scribing and/or timekeeping. A form will be circulating when you arrive at the competition grounds so you can fill in the events you able to assist with.

Note: Dogs may only be entered in any one Class a, b, c, d, e, f, g or h from each event.

Dogs in Starters / Elementary (non AAD/RAAD titled dogs): non AAD/RAAD titled dogs may compete in Open A Events but may not compete in Open B Events.

Advanced Tests: May only be entered by dogs who have been awarded their SAAD/R-SAAD (or MAAD/R-MAAD) title.

Team/Pairs Events - Important: Put details of Team or Pairs members on your entry form. Details to include Handlers’ names and membership numbers and Dogs’ names and registration numbers.

Teams/Pairs must enter the class jumping at the Combined Programme height of the largest dog in the Team or Pair
.  Permitted combinations of dogs at each Combined Programme height are:

Toy (jumping 150mm) Toy only
Mini (jumping 250mm) Toy/Mini
Midi (jumping 400mm) Toy/Mini/Midi
Maxi (jumping 550mm) Toy/Mini/Midi/Maxi

Reminder: Dogs eligible for their BAAD title may not enter Elementary. Dogs eligible for their AAD title may not enter Elementary and/or Starters Tests. Dogs awarded their SAAD title or that have been awarded five Intermediate Agility Clear Round Certificates after being awarded their AAD title may not enter Starters, Elementary and/or Intermediate Tests.

Combined Tests: Regular registered dogs may compete with International registered dogs.

Juniors: Juniors entering a competition, or handling a dog at a compe
tition, will need to submit the Parent/Guardian Permission Slip (8kb PDF) with their entries.
