WAC FUNDRAISER COMPETITION - DUSK TILL DAWN

Venue
: Elimbah Sports & Recreation Association, Rose Creek Road, Elimbah.
Date: Dusk till Dawn - Saturday 31st December 2011 & Sunday 1st January 2012.
Vetting: Formal vetting will not be conducted; however the club reserves the right to vet any dog present on the grounds on the day.
Dog Measuring: 5:15 - 5:30 pm.
Judging Commences
: 6:00 pm both rings. A dinner break / celebration including trivia games will commence at 11:30 pm. Ring One will recommence at 12:30am.
Order of Judging: As per entry schedule/catalogue. Organisers reserve the right to move events between the two rings.
Entry Fee: $4.00 per dog, per Test / Event.
Closing Date: Friday 23rd December 2011 - no later than 6:00 pm (please use one entry form per dog - photocopies may be used). No late entries accepted.

Meals: To celebrate the coming of the New Year we ask that all competitors bring a plate of food / nibblies, for a group sit down during the break from 11:30 pm - 12:30 am. A range of food will also be available throughout the competition.


Camping:  Camping is available at the grounds, no powered sites are available.

Note: As This Competition is an ADAA World Agility Championships (WAC) fundraiser there will be no prizes or rosettes. All money raised will go towards funding the Australian team to compete at IFCS World Agility Championships in the America, May 2012.  There will be a range of prizes throughout the night for some classes and events. The Team Challenge winners will be awarded a prize for first place.

CONDITIONS
# Competition to be held under the Rules and Agility Regulations of the Agility Dog Association of Australia Ltd (judging/scoring details for Games will be announced by the judge prior to the Event).
# All dogs and handlers must be registered with ADAA. Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry and to substitute judges as required. Dogs under 18 months of age not eligible for entry.
# For the purpose of ascertaining the eligibility to enter the appropriate standard at an exhibition, all "Clear Round" certificates and "Qualifying" certificates up to and including three days before the date on which entries close shall count.
# Any dog who has a contagious disease, or any dog in the same household (and in some cases any dog who has been exposed to a contagious disease), is excluded from any ADAA sanctioned event as outlined in the Canine Contagious Disease Policy. By entering this ADAA sanctioned event you agree that you have read and understand the Canine Contagious Disease Policy, which is available at:

# It is a condition of entry that handlers assist in course changes, scribing and/or timekeeping.

**Team Challenge (Event 3 and Event 12): The team challenge event will comprise of two team rounds, one agility and one jumping. Each team will consist of three dogs, each with a different handler. We encourage the use of a team name.  If you wish to compete in the team challenge you must have the same team compete in events 3 and 12.  Winners of the team challenge are determined by the team with the lowest score (course faults plus time faults) ie: each fault or refusal earns the team 5 points, an elimination earns the team 100 points. In the case of an equal score the  winner shall be determined by time.

Training Ring: Opportunities to train in the ring will be available at this competition between the following times:

   3:30 pm - 5:30 pm in Ring 1 (Agility and Jumping obstacles)
   12:30 am - 1:30 am in Ring 2 (Jumping obstacles only)

Participating handlers will have a maximum of 3 minutes to practice on any obstacles in the practice ring. During the practice sessions, tugging is allowed but no food or training treats are allowed in the ring. The cost is $3.00 for 3 minutes of exclusive training time. To request a session time email noudfamily@bigpond.com with your dog's name and jumping height (150mm, 250mm, 400mm, 550mm or 650mm).  Damian will email you with your allocated time slot. Payment can be made either with your entries or on the night, but payment must be received before you step into the ring for your practice session.

Note
: Dogs may only be entered in any one Class a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k or l from each event.

Dogs in Starters / Elementary (non AAD/RAAD titled dogs): non AAD/RAAD titled dogs may compete in Open A Events but may not compete in Open B Events.

Advanced Tests: May only be entered by dogs who have been awarded their SAAD/R-SAAD (or MAAD/R-MAAD) title.

Team/Pairs Events - Important: Put details of Team or Pairs members on your entry form. Details to include Handlers’ names and membership numbers and Dogs’ names and registration numbers.

Teams/Pairs must enter the class jumping at the Combined Programme height of the largest dog in the Team or Pair
.  Permitted combinations of dogs at each Combined Programme height are:

Reminder: Dogs eligible for their BAAD title may not enter Elementary. Dogs eligible for their AAD title may not enter Elementary and/or Starters Tests. Dogs awarded their SAAD title or that have been awarded five Intermediate Agility Clear Round Certificates after being awarded their AAD title may not enter Starters, Elementary and/or Intermediate Tests.

Combined Tests: Regular registered dogs may compete with International registered dogs.

Juniors: Juniors entering a competition, or handling a dog at a competition, will need to submit the Parent/Guardian Permission Slip (8kb PDF) with their entries.
