Have Fun Be a Volunteer!

 - Are you travelling to Grand Prix to support your family and/or your friends?
 - Would you like to recoup some of the expense of going to Grand Prix?
 - Wondering how to fill in all day, every day?
 - Would you like a ring-side seat?
 - Would you like to be fully involved?
 - Would you like to be a major contributor to the smooth running of Grand Prix?

If so, how about volunteering to be a scribe and/or scorekeeper?

Not only will you be appreciated by every Competitor, but ADAA is willing to pay $200 to any person who volunteers and helps on all four days.

Never been a scribe or scorekeeper. Do not let that put you off as you will have the opportunity to be fully trained before leaving for the Grand Prix.

On top of all that you will be given regular breaks and have time to wander round and explore the wonderful new complex, chat with friends or even just do nothing.

Do not want to commit to all four days, just let us know what you are prepared to do as every little help ensures the load is spread.

Interested? Of course you are. Just email Sharon Dungey, the volunteer coordinator, at mike_shar@bigpond.com as soon as possible.

NOTE: The below is for informational purposes only, please download the full Grand Prix Notices / Schedule document and the official Grand Prix Entry Form.

Other Accommodation: The dog friendly McNevins Tamworth Motel is just out of Tamworth in a village called Nemingha and only a 8 to 10 minuted drive from the Equestrian Centre. View information about McNevins Tamworth Motel (PDF 48kb)) provided by the Managers for dog owners.

Meals: Corey’s Caterers will be catering for the weekend, which should ensure that you have a stress free weekend. To make life easy and so you do not have to decide months in advance what you will feel like eating, they will run a Snack Bar for the weekend serving from Breakfast till Dinner time. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be available as takeaways with the exception of Sunday Evening when it is Party Time and we are having a Spit Roast Buffet. This needs to be prepaid on your entry form, as we have to know exact numbers.

Inside the centre is a licensed premises with a Bar, so you may purchase a drink to have with your meal while enjoying the Agility. We are arranging for the bar to be open in the evenings. The alcohol restriction only applies within the building (no alcohol may be brought into the building whether or not the bar is open). Alcohol restrictions do not apply in the camping area.)

Special Dietary requirements: These can be catered for (coeliac, gluten free, allergies). As this requires special preparations and purchases these meals will need to be pre-arranged. To do this you must email Lynell Gallagher on or before 24 September 2010 (lynell@gallagher.id.au) to organise your special needs from the Snack Bar. The Buffet Dinner on Sunday will have alternatives for Vegetarians but please indicate your requirements on the entry form so we can organise sufficient Vegetarian fare.

Sunday Night is party night. This year we have organised a Spit Roast Buffet and Dance Party. We are planning great music so come and have fun and dance your Agility stiffness away!
Theme: “Urban Cowboy”. Feel free to dress to the theme or simply come as you are and join in the FUN.

Clothing: We have a great short sleeve polo shirt available in a choice of 3 colour combinations: Red/Black, Green/Black and Purple/Black.  Shirts are available in both Ladies and Unisex sizing and will cost $30 each.
