Here is just a taste of what we will have on offer (see the Schedule for full details):

Foundation exercises for your puppy: You’ve got the puppy, but now what do you do? In this class we will cover the foundation work you should be doing in the first twelve months with your new bundle of joy.

Learn all the crosses & manoeuvres: Front crosses, rear crosses, 180s, 270s, serpentines, pull throughs, push throughs. What do they all mean? You’ll learn what they are and when to do them.

Fundamentals of Jumping: Even if you can only fit One Jump in your backyard, you can teach your dog every handling manoeuvre you are ever going to need. If you have room for more, then you can also teach your dog the basis of excellent jumping skills.

Strategies and the Mental side of Agility: Whether it be trying to come to grips with the games we play in Agility, or just overcoming your psychological demons, there are sessions that will help you.

Skill Building: Or are you looking to build better contacts, weave poles or your distance work? We’ve got that covered too.

Conditions: All handlers, auditors and instructors must be a financial member of ADAA.  ADAA expects that all training be carried out in a humane and positive manner. No harsh handling will be tolerated.  ADAA reserves the right to ask any member to leave or to stop them from entering their dog in any class/training situation if in the opinion of ADAA the handler has demonstrated bad sportsmanship or the handler has demonstrated harsh handling.

Junior Handlers: Juniors who will not have a Parent / Guardian present at the camp MUST have a written authority delegating responsibility, in case of need, to an adult who will be present at the camp and is willing to fulfil the role of Guardian.  Download written authority form (PDF 9 kb).
